PET Program
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to set the Pet program so it will fit to size on my lap top screen? I get to see about 3/4's now and I am at the highest res. this laptop will allow.
Thanks - Chris |
you need a minimum of 1248X1024
it's doable with 1024x768, but you have to be creative the edge of the "start button" is just on screen enough to click it as long as your windows task bar is not to big you could set the taskbar on autohide, but i find it's not necessary |
Currently set to the max at 1024 x 768, task bar hidden and still about 3/4's.

If you get to the main screen and hit "enter", it'll proceed into the selection screen. From there it is fairly usable, though a bit of a pain.

I thought this was a no-no subject here...many a hand slapping has taken place talking about PET. =o)

Make sure you have the latest graphics chip drivers. Some (like mine) allow panning to a run larger resolution. That way you can select 1280*1024 even though the native panel resolution is only 1024*768.

Chooch, you crack me up! Funnel some of your project $ into a better computer. I know you will do it just so you can see the whole screen at once.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm trying to find drivers that will allow panning. No luck yet. Replacing the laptop for pet is currently not in the Porsche budget ScotTiDude ( oops I spelled it wrong again) Buy some of my stuff when you sell those puch brown seats and I may consider it.
