87 Carrera - replaceing MC, should I bench bleed?

I'm replacing the MC. I bought a pressure bleeder and speed bleeders, after ruining the MC that was on the car. Is it necessary to bench bleed the MC and if recommended, what would be the plan. Thanks to all

no, I didn't and had no issues. have plenty of brake fluid, though. I used a motive power bleeder (pressure to cap system) to bleed. just don't push the pedal all the way to the floor while bleeding. not that you need to with a pressure bleeder.

I didn't and everything was fine. Just use some cheapo brake fluid at first to bleed the system so you don't waste the good stuff.

Yep, I know about pedal to the metal... believe thats how I messed up the old one. Pumping the brakes to bleed after she sat for 6mths dry...
