Most likely nit-picking, but isn't that what we do here...?

Quote:
John's wife Susan Miller raced the car until my purchase in early 2005
Quote:
The car has 45 miles (most on the track at Daytona) and is on Absolutey Jewelry like New Condition.
How long were her races???

Quote:
It has lived it's life in the same factory specification since new.
Quote:
original engine (with it's 2.5 litre Rally conversion done by the original owner) completley remanufactured with Ported and Flowed Heads, Carillo rods. Special Factory Rally Cams
Porsche raced 2.5's in 1968??? ... MSD ignitions?

All of that being said, it looks like a really neat car, but would require considerable research before I spent the value of a house (in some parts of our country) on it's purchase -- assuming that I had the money, which I don't. Considering how few races were on the car, I wonder why they went to all of the trouble of completing erasing it's patina during the rebuild.

I'm thinking of mounting some mirrors on the fender like this car on my 71. Neat car but too rich for my blood. I'll just steal some idea's for my next project.

Yeah, I was looking at that too. Wonder if it will move at $295k? Would seem to be a bad time to enter the market with a car like that. If he drops his price by an order of magnitude, I'm in.

That's a nice looking car. I hope he gets his price. That should increase the value of ours by a few dollars.

I noticed that the sellers were also involved earlier in the sale of Tony Adamowicz's car. I forgot how that all worked out.
