Opinions on OG Rollcage

The car I just purchased came with an OG rollcage that is not installed. I want to set the car up as a track car that is steet legal. I will do DE courses and open track events with it.

Is the OG rollcage a decent one or should I sell it and get something else (maybe custom)? I want to this right the first time.

Thanks-
Craig Backer

you can't beat it for the money.... otherwise go custom or "safety devices"

I have one as well. I really like it compared to other pre-built bars. Very easy to install and fit well. A custom will always offer better fit if you have a good builder. Things I would change would be to push the front hoops forward closer to the A pillar and remove the knee bar (I'm 6'3" and need extra clearance)

Yes, easy to install a harness. just loop it around the cross bar. btw, with fixed back seats you pretty much loose most storage in the rear seat area. Only a problem if you have to stuff things back there on the way to the track. I got around this by using smaller tool bags and such.
