Front suspension/turbo tie rods time to replace

I am preparing to replace the old tie rods with turbo tie rods, new front tires, four wheel alignment and debating the "while you are in there projects".

How many labor hours does a shop need to replace the tie rods with turbo tie rods and replace the front bushings? The material cost and alignment cost I already have a good idea of what I am getting into.

Waynes book says 4 hours for the R&R the tie rods. This would be for an DIYer, right? My old crash manual states 1.1 hour per side to replace the A-arm. Not sure about time to install new bushings.

Appreciate your responses in advance.

Regarding turbo tie rods its definitely a DIY job. I will do it myself this spring. And if I can do it - anybody can. There have been a number of threads on this topic, with instructive write ups and pictures. Very well described in Wayne's book 101 Projects too.

Piece of cake, DIY. While I was "in there" I also replaced the fuel pump as that was making noise. Overall an enjoyable project, wish they all were so straight forward. You might need a ball joint remover, I had a buddy that had one I could use. Not mandatory.

Tie rods are definitely DIY. But regarding time, its varies from car to car. Suspension parts have a habit sizing...

It can be any thing from really easy to near impossible.
Don't do anything if you need the car on Monday... You'll never know exactly what parts you need. You might have to break something or maybe you'll find something that will have to be replaced.
While_your_in_there - Check or/and replace: Ball joint, bushings, brake lines, brake pads, rebuilding calipers, dampers, cleaning.
