OT - New Audi RS4, 7:58 around Nurburgring..

New Audi RS4, 7:58 around Nurburgring..
Audis DTM-driver Frank Stippler.

Not bad for a 4 door. Its even faster than the new M5 and I think it looks better than the new M5

I agree and im in love with it. Whats the redline again? 7800? Jeez, a V8 with that kinda rev limit is all sorts of fun. I read that it sounds absolutly amazing and its a riot to drive.

if it's faster than the M5 which is north of $110.000 and has AWD in addition, price seems to be 'reasonable'

But seriously, AWD is a great advantage. The problem for me would be weight which hp can't overcome.

On a canyon road, I don't think the RS4 would have a prayer against our 911 cars.

Incidentally, I think that grill is hideous. I used to think it was cool in photos, but in person it overwhelms the front end.

If a cyclops also had only one nostril, it'd look like the new Audis.

The RS4 won't rattle it's way around the track like the ZO6. Also note it takes 7 liters for the ZO6 to make 500 BHP and the Audi makes 420 with 4.2. As for the interior, there's no comparison. Maybe a better ZO6 comparison would be the RS6 with 500+ BHP.

The Z06 front end is also ugly...it looks too Mitsubishi 3000 GT-like for me...
