Just got, and sucessfully installed a replacement whale tale made of fiberglass, and factory painted guards red to match the rest.
I've never had a fiberglass part before.... Can I wash it like other parts? I don't think it can be waxed can it? What advice would you share to best care for it? Thanks in advance!

Yep, it can not only be washed but waxed as well. If it has just been painted, I'd wait a month or two to wax it but, otherwise, go right ahead.
