Different Carrera script

Hi I've been tossing up whether or not to put Carrera script on my car. It's an orange RS clone. Thought dark blue would look good and then decided purple might look ok. I then went off the idea of script all together until I saw a picture of an RS in the new Total 911. I think it is a very early RS. The script is solid and below the script is all coloured the same blue as the writing. The wheels are also the same blue. Does anyone know if is style of script is avalible? Is the blue under the script paint or part of the trasfer? It's on page 97 if you have the August copy of Total 911.

It depends on the color and what YOU want.....

Hello Mikez I emailed you last time I was thinking about this and then went off the idea. Sorry to mess you around. Do you know the style of script I'm talking about?

Joe Bob 10-21-2005 01:33 AM

Ya gotta give me some art or a font....not like I can jump over there and do it onsite.....

MickB 10-21-2005 01:51 AM

Thought there might be a few people out there with this style.

That was the original design for the Carrera RS. It appeared in some of the early marketing materials for the model, but was then replaced with the script we're all familiar with.

I personally like the one they finally settled on better.

Thanks Jack. That's it. Much better pic than the one I found. No RS front spoiler yet and drilled brake discs. Not sure I want but Ill keep the picture. Thanks

One other option is the PORSCHE text.

Yeah...that can be done...

IMO white next to orange is a most beautiful presentation, love it, love it, love it.

Hard match....gotta find the vinyl THEN match the paint for the wheels...fades easy too....that's why "I" went with red....

Joe Bob 10-21-2005 12:02 PM

Oh yeah...new pics....

The Jager script or the PORSCHE script..?

The jager is old German, the P script is kinda obscure but I have it saved on my disc and can cut viyl with it.

Does white vinyl fade?

Joe Bob 10-21-2005 12:38 PM

Can turn yellowish if cheap stuff....

MickB 10-21-2005 04:30 PM

I have a white PORSCHE script. I bought it when I had a black SC and never put it on. What's involved in taking it off if I don't like it?

MickB 10-21-2005 04:49 PM

When all else fails read the instructions. To remove heat with heat gun and peel off. Sounds simple. These decals have been sitting here for 2 years so I might as well give them a go. Will post a pic when done.
