Hi Brooklyn
Wife & I spent 7 days in Nauset Beach (East Orleans), second week Sept. Nice week, good time yada, yada. Did not see even one P-car the entire week, let alone a shop. I imagine they are there , maybe hiding in the dunes. We did spot a sweet silver, twin-grill 356 on 95-S south on the way home. He was bookin' towards the city and I gave him the official salute. He saw the pca decal on my Jetta's window and knew we were friendlies. Good luck, have a good time, check out the seals from Nauset Beach between 3-4pm Bill K

No Pcar shops that I know of. Make sure you go to Chatham (on the "elbow"). Have the chowder and a beer at the Squire and a glass of wine on the veranda of the Chatham Bars Inn. It's the best town on the Cape (slightly biased opinion- I grew up there)

You may want to start out on the Merritt Parkway, aka "The Connecticut Autobahn."

Mike the only true Porsche / Audi Dealer is in Norwell MA off Rt 3, "Rietzel". Transalantic Motors in Hyannis sells Porsche and Volvo. The best help is this board if needed!
Well get onto rt 6a just over the Sagamore Bridge and take your time, 1/2 hour to 45 min. to Brewster going 6a all the way. That's my Mon. routine drive coming off Cape. As you go into Banstable Village about 20 min.up (small main street), take a left at the next set of lights Banstable Harbor and go to the end free parking and you can walk the beach "the best things in life are free", also you will notice on the left just before the beach Mattakeese Wharf Restaurant (one of my accounts) sits right on top of the water, Chefs name is Kenny, tell him you came all the way from N.Y for his Boulliabaise because Bob his best salesperson told you. The Whale Watcher Boat goes out right there, if it's in the cards, might be the last week before shipping down to Fla. Have a great time, Bob

Don't forget Four Seasons Ice Cream in Centerville......the best.
Bobby, While I was up on the Cape a few months ago (Centerville, near the lake) I visited friends who live in an old turn of the century school/boarding house. Very very cool house rich with history and a beautiful piece of property. I think they said Harry Connick jr lived across the street. Sound familiar?

Two things first factory five racing in warham ( just before the bridge ) great cobra builder and does the tour thing fun cars to sit in I love the daytona's ! Second get some chowder at the light house it is the best lighthouse is on right just after you go over bridge. The cops on rt 28 are waiting for you do not speed on this road they have nothing else todo at this time of the year. If you go to the second bridge about 5 miles away you can go to the first christmas tree store it's pretty cool ( an old huge windmill ) Try eating at the hearth and kettle once it's a cape thing there all over. have fun !

The lighthouse is called American Lobster ask for Larry, that's just over the Bourne Bridge.
Rickm, so many nice spots out here and lots of who's who in the zoo! The Cape has alot to offer, but those of us that work and live here yearound have to work the hardest when the season kicks in, now is the time to enjoy the golf, beach walks, some boating still left and of course take the beast out for a flight. Steven, factory five is in my home town and just went this summer for a tour well worth the visit. I'll try to put together some kind of a lighthouse tour run this coming spring, like late April maybe we can get a group together. Off to Hilton Head for a week, vacation time seeya.

Hi fellas,
My whole family has been going to CC for almost 20yrs in the summer. We rent a different house and location every year, so we are familiar. But always willing to discover new places to dine and most importantly....ICE CREAM!!!! 4 Seasons is THE BEST for sure! There is a great road that connects 6A down to Centerville that is full of twisties that I discovered back in August, which inspired me to take the P-car on this trip. I stay off of Rt28 on principle! I love 6A, and just cruise slowly taking in it's beauty. We have never been to CC in autumn and we are looking forward with great gusto to this trip. Hey Bob, did you receive the "clips" yet? Any recommendations for Brewster Orleans area for dining? Our favorite spot is the Orleans Inn, we are staying at the Pepper House Inn. They are supposed to have a great breakfast there. I had my old Mercedes 300TDT repaired at TransAtlantic years ago, they were accommodating...espaecially after I greased the service guy with a $20. Alternator pulley disintegrated......but she kept running all the way through Conn., RI and Mass. Got to love a diesel! Thanks to all....keep the advice coming. Best regards,

I second Randolph Racing, not that far from the cape. There's also a P car shop in Woonsockett RI whose name escapes me.

for breakfast, try the 'Hole In One' in Orleans, I think 6A. You could probably walk there from The Pepper Inn. Its kind of hidden in on the end of a semi-row of shops/stores, and the main entrance is from the rear. We went there 3 times in Sep. All home-made baked goods & lunch specials. There's a 5 person counter & about 5 tables. But the wait will be non-existant this time of year. Dinners - Italian style (if you get tired of c-food) try Rosalie's also Orleans,Cove Rd, also off the beaten path, but mama mia. a bit pricy, but worth it.

OK, just got back from a fantastic 1000mi round trip to Cape Cod.
The wife and I had a blast. The best part of the trip was driving the 911 and finding winding roads to drive in a "sporting manner". The foliage has started to set in so it was beautiful! The 911 really ran FANTASTIC! Sooo smooth and seamless. P-car count...... 1 - 944 Red 1 - '80's Carrera Targa - Diamond Blue 1 - ? 930 Kiln Red 1 - 964 Targa Rose "ish" We stayed at an inn on 6A....very quaint. A couple from the U.K.were staying there also. We met John and Chris at breakfast with a "Good Morning, would that be your Super Sport out there?" Well, John is just retired from the British army and had been stationed in Germany for many years and fully familiar with Porsches. John has restored quite a few 911's in his time and is an avid motorcyclist. Next year is our 25th anniversary and John and Chris convinced us to fly to Germany and rent a Porsche, drive thru Europe and into the U.K. and stay with them for a few days. Porsche.....more that a vehicle, it's also a vehicle to bring people together across oceans! PS....Valentine 1 radar detector is a must! PSS.....there was a Sunoco station in Harwich that has 100 octane fuel. I gave my baby a treat! I don't know how much was placebo effect but my car ran fantastic with a ˝ and ˝ blend of 93 octane and 100 octane! Cheers! Thanks to all for listening and your suggestions.

Hi Bob, hope you had a wonderful time at Hilton Head.
The Cape was lovely.......and just the right temperature for an air cooled car. Yes, the CHT made a real difference, the car runs as it should, very smooth and not as rich. Here are a few pics taken on Rt 6A. ![]() ![]() We should be up again in the spring.....see you then. Best regards,
