2001 996 turbo
I'm buying a 2001 996 Turbo, and I've made the deal. I'm going to close early tommorrow. It's a beautiful low mileage car, and I'm quite excited about it.
The one thing I don't understand is this. This Turbo has, on all 4 corners of the top (roof) area, small inserts, measuring about 1/2 inch by 4 inch (est) that are painted body color. I want to make sure these are original. I don't know or understand what they are for, but, otherwise, the car is perfect. The owner didn't know what there were. But, I want to make sure we don't have some sort of "modification" here. Please help soon, Tnx, Bill |

OEM - they are for a factory roof rack.
