Early Door Seals

The original door seals for my '69 912 were, I believe, foam. Last time I bought new ones, they were superceded by the later rubber bulb (hollow, tubular w/ribs) type. The late style have always felt like they are either too fat or too stiff, making the door harder to close. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

the people who can answer all early car questions are located on the Early 911S Registry. You don't need to own an S, just a passion, of passing interest, in early cars. Go here and ask: http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4
