Question Bad Oil Leak

There is a heavy oil leak up by the motor/trany. I havent got under the car yet to look for the cause yet.
Any ideas?

I think that people say that the oil breather cover back there can leak, and there is an electrical plug back there that has a tendency to leak too but I forget which one it exactly is. I think if you have waynes books he talks about both of these. But I most will say that you have to clean up the area and watch it closely to figure out exactly where the oil is comming from. I am by no means the most knowledgable person on this board and I am sure others will chime in with better information for you.

If you have 101 projects check project 21. It covers the crankcase oil breather that has a tendency to leak, check the breather hose as well, and the Oil cooler thermostat o-ring. ANd the electrical connection that I was speaking of is the oil pressure switch. Maybe that will help. Best of luck
