Rear Sway Bar Mount Re-Engineer and Tarret adjustable install **MANY PHOTOS**

Like many of you, I had the early and very weak rear sway bar mounts. So when I redid the rear suspension, I beefed up the sway bar mounts. If these don't work, I'll do the WEVO mounts, but I thought I'd give my own best effort first.

Here's how I did it:

First step: add a plate to the bottom of the mount, 1/8". Step two Gusset the mount by adding a triangular plate. Step three add triangulation and plug weld to the gussett and at the same time, tie the triangulation into the new bottom plate.

Step four, clean up the welds and paint.

Next, I installed the rear sway bar. You'll notice that because of width of the triangulation I added to the mounts, I needed to use these delrin spacers to space the collars away from the mounts just a bit. The second picture down shows why this is necessary. Ira from Tarett supplied these spacers to me. He had them already made and sent them out immediately. I got them one day later and without additional cost! Thanks IRA!! More great service from Tarett and Ira.

I'm really happy with Ira's products. They are well designed, the tolerances are small and overall are very high quality.
