don't do this

This morning it was, how should I say it........burrrr doggy cold. I pulled the heat levers in the floor and the left one was just a little stiff being the first time to need heat this year I wasn't suprised.
After work this evening I brought the car in the shop and found the door on the air box was a little stiff. I unhooked the cable sprayed a little PB Blaster on the piviot and worked it back and forth. re hooked the cable and tried the lever again, well it worked so well I decided to give the right side the same treatment.
Feeling content with my smooth cable operation I cleaned up and left for home.
Well it isn't not quite window down weather but the sunroof open with the heat on was nice until it happened.
The whole car loaded up with the smell of hot PB Blaster. I love the way this stuff works but when you heat it up and fill your car with it,it is so bad you can taste it YUCKO!
Almost made me wish I still smoked

D'oh! sorry to hear that. I wonder how long it will take to get rid of the smell and for PB Blaster to bake off the air box...

That stuff is downright reisty! I sprayed some on the knob in my shower because it was sticking and my shower stunk for two days. I was worried I was smelling like it too. That wasn't even cooked. I can only imagine.

another reason to prefer Kroil -- maybe Pelican should begin stocking it...
