frame straightening in Socal?

Anybody know of anyone that does good frame work and has the proper equipment to straighten a slightly tweaked 86 turbo shell. I'm not sure if I should be looking for a Celette machine, but just someone who's knowledgeable. TIA

There are few in Orange County, you wanna go that far? You can search for the various names. My B-in-law works for a high end body shop in Laguna Niguel and he has since before your car was new. However, unless it's an insurance job, they won't take it in. He has pulled scores of 911s; I've personally seen him do a Turbo.

Celettes are nice, but not that universal. Hence, they aren't in every shop. But, a new computerized frame machine is in most shops. You just need someone who knows what to look for and what to do first, 2nd and last. Even with a Celette, no experience is a major deficiency.

There are no two accidents alike, each is an individual thought process to straighten. Call Dave at TRE for more info on LA shops. Call Andial for info on OC shops.

Milt,

I appreciate your input. I completely forgot about Dave at TRE. A really great guy, very helpful.

Thanks,
Gene

KevinP73 here on the board is a paint and body guru for the 911. If he can't help you, I'm sure he'll be able to refer you to someone. Kevin's shop is Automotive Innovations and Restorations in Van Nuys.
