Question
I have this 1975 911 targa S
It has a gear box out of a 67' car with a lower ratio as well as the original (need to be gone through) cam tensioner update solid Titanium motor mts 3.0 with less than 2 hrs runtime needs nothing to go but could use a new smile and has tiny trace of rust. It has been a Tennessee car it's WHOLE life it was bought new little more than 50 miles from where it now lives. P.S. It is Black on Black classic right? Please give me a rough guess at what it is worth!? Thankx Guys William:rolleyes: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1130471974.jpg |
William, I'd say low teens, but maybe more if condition of the car is excellent. When the 3.0 was rebuild, were the head studs replaced?
This will be a fun car for somebody, that's for sure. Best wishes on the sale. :) |
No the studs were not replaced but they will be soon as the person that put them in cleaned the coating off and they all coroded and some broke! that is going to be my christmas project when I go home I figgure about 10 hrs of work and then I get to really see how the 3.0 pepped it up!!!
you really think I could pull 12,500 for it after all it is a clean car!!! |
Not with broken head studs. ;) I would take a lot of pics if I was you and post them here. That'll give folks more insight and you might get a better answer. Mid-year cars with bigger engines are very cool, but selling a targa in the winter is likely to hold your sales price down. Spring might be the best time to offer it up. All just my opinion. Once again, best wishes on this. :)

The studs are my christmas project and I will not even think of selling it till I get to drive it a little It will probably be early to mid summer before
