Gotta make a decision

So, I was looking around for a 3.0 or 3.2 engine via some of the local shops and I came across a guy that has 74(I think) non-sunroof coupe with a 3.0 that he'd like to sell.
Now the body is fairly rough but that's no problem for me as I'm a painter by trade and the interior could use some lovin' as well.
I figure I could buy this one and sell my Targa or part it out to recoupe some the investment or take the best parts of both and make one nice car and sell off the remainder to offset some of the cost.
Either way, I think I'd make out ok.

All thoughts on this subject are welcome

I think pics of both would be most helpful. And, I'm going to modify an old adage and say, "A complete car is worth two in pieces."

Well they both have faded paint. Mine has 15" repro fuchs and new tires, a bad cylinder and little to no rust and a non leaking Targa top. Interior on my car is good but not exceptional, and all the electrical seems to function properly.

The car I'm looking at just had new headstuds installed and a general going over engine-wise 16" fuchs, decent tires. I haven't been able to drive it yet but I'll probably take it for a spin after the weekend. Interior-wise it's a little tired but I'm a minimalist and again I could probably pirate the interior from my Targa. I'll try and get pics tomorrow and post them.

Here's what mine looks like now

Phew! Hopefully, the pinstripe will meet the same demise?
