Skins or strips

Some minor rust on my door bottoms. As I intend to have the whole car stripped and painted - complete new door skins or 6" door bottom strips?

Any advice welcomed.

There is a lot of work involved with skins. Pinch welds or fill welds along the front edge, lead and or filler work at spots at the top edges front and back, sealant in all the seams, etc. If the rest of the door is sound and straight, you will save a lot of work and money just doing the bottom instead of the entire door. I did the skins, and am glad for the experience , but i could have gotten away with less work.
