Following recommendations on this board, i decided to send the used oil cooler i bought to have it sonic cleaned before installing.

Can anyone recommend a shop to do this work in CT ?

I'm not sure what's involved with the ultrasonic cleaning method (didn't see that post), but some companies that service small aircraft have special equipment to clean oil coolers. From what they tell me, they run a solvent back and forth through the cooler. The machine is equipped with screens to trap any debris. Check around your local airport. Hope this helps
