Exclamation Oil Pressure Gauge Steady @ 2 ?

From what I have read here, the pressure should match the RPM's at about a 1-to-1000 ratio. My gauge has been steady at about 2 since I bought in back in June. I figured it was just sticking or something.

I took it out of the dash and found that it does not stick. If unplug one wire it pegs past 5, unplug the other it drops off the gauge. Also, the pressure varies slightly at about 2 depending upon the RPMs. Do I need a new gauge? Is something wrong? What else is there to check? Many thanks again.

Mine did that too...the exact same thing. Replace the sending unit and that'll most likely fix the problem. Our host sells them.
