Spacer clearance recommendation
I will need spacers for the new wheels I bought. What is the recommended amount of clearance from the spring plate bolts/nuts and oil lines that the wheel/tire must clear by on the inside of the car? Is there much flex here on hard cornering?
Thanks

bump--this would be for the rear tires to clear the spring plate bolt which is rubbing the wheel and tire on the driver side and the oil line on the passenge side.

Jon,
On my car, 1/4" to 3/8" or more is enough at the oil line. I believe at the springplate less clearance may be acceptable. As the wheels travel through their arc, they do move closer to the body, I believe. This is more acute at the rear of the wheel than next to the springplate.
