I don't care about the hold value s%^t in a great ride when I bought my GT3 back in '98, I only want that car in my garage then I used like daily now I sold them and also my F-348 spider to buy a new F-430 F1 w/o months payments.

I can't wait a decade until they are "only" worth $45,000. I'm getting mine in YELLOW!

If a nice one with reasonable mileage is down to that price, I'm on one like a bum on a ham sandwich!!

depends on your time frame, next 10 yrs > not a snow balls chance in H_ll. 35 yrs from now > maybe the next generation will appreciate them and then again there might not be any gasoline left to run them

don't bet the 401k on one

I certainly hope they dont hold their value. I'd like to be able to afford one some day :)

I can imagine what it was like paying $8-9k for a 1970S back then only to see how dated your car was by 1974 model and the desire for the new model pushed the 70 used price way down but today everyone wants a pre 74.

With that size budget along with the consideration of depreciation I would be looking for a Federalized 993 RS or possibly bringing one over. I think these cars will continue to not only hold value but increase in value over time. Plus they look so much better than a 996 GT3, IMHO:)
