'87 fuel line replacement
Pressure line is leaking just beyond the fuel pump so I am replacing it along with the return line. After some research I think I have a handle on how it is done. My question is that on the Pelican parts diagram there is a clip which may or may not attach to the lines within the tunnel. If it does, how is it accessed to be released?

I replaced my lines and the only clip was a metal wrap piece near the accelerator. It easily bent out of the way. This is a "fun" job, make sure you tie a line to the fuel line as you remove it, it along with soaping up the replacement makes it easier to put back in. I found it useful to gain access to where the line comes out in the back to disconnect the tranny mount and jack the tranny up an inch or so. Do a search on PP, lots of good stuff. I chose not to pay the P tax and had high pressure fuel lines made up to put back. $25 and the local hydraulic shop crimped the fittings on the replacement hose. Slightly bigger diameter hose but in the end, it does the job.

Please take some pictures of your install and document the process. As you probably found out, there isn't much information on doing these lines on pelican. I bought the lines, but haven't installed them yet. (not sure when I will do it.)
Good luck!

I wonder how many of us there are out here who have the parts but are not quite sure how to tackle the project? I'm just a little afraid I'll get half through and hit something I can't handle.
