clutch adjustment
Reading the tech article and Wayne's 101 book clutch adjustment seems straight forward. But can't find a set of 1.2 and 1.0 feeler gauges. Where do I go?

Any old set of feeler gauges are fine. You may just have to add up blades until you have a 1.2 and 1.0.

I have accumulated several sets of feeler guages over the years. They are all in thousandths, I convert to mm.
When I had a real job, we had a huge conversion chart that must of been 5'x3'. It listed metric, decimal, standard, fractional conversion and drill/tap size chart. Does anyone know where I could buy one now? We used to get them free from our machine tool vendor. |

Not rocket science. You adjust it so that the bit arm starts pushing the little arm before the helper spring goes "over the top."

1.0 mm = 0.039"
1.2mm = 0.047" Maybe this will help.
