Brake Line Fitting Sizes

What are the brake line fittings sizes for a 993? Can I buy them locally, mail order or do I have to buy OEM lines?

TIA, John

Anyone? Can I make my own hard lines?

Not sure about 993, but the early Porsche stuff is 3/16" ISO metric bubble flare. 3/16" is the same as 4.75mm, I believe. I bought one premade stainless line from Pep Boys or NAPA. They come in increments of 3" to 4", usually.

If you buy an ISO metric bubble flare tool, you can make your own. Hazlet is the right tool, but they are either expensive, new OR hard to find, used.
