The New Cayman in Ibiza, Spain

Long time no post, as I've been shifting living quarters, and was without internet or e-mail. Did I miss any good threads?

In othe news, the general manager of our local dealer, MCL, was in Spain last month enjoying a factory unvailing of the new Cayman S. I was lucky enough to get a copy of his photo album from the trip, and with his permission am sharing them here.

Things started on the Island of Majorca, touring in the 997 C4S, then a short ship-ride south to Ibiza, where a fleet of Cayman's was waiting.

Enjoy.

The Cayman does to the 911 what the 911 did to the 356 style-wise. It takes all of the grace and elegance and adds a more sporting edge to it (all my opinion, of course).

Umm, how much would the Cayman unveiling have cost Porsche?

And what happens to all the cars in the evaluation fleet?

They've clearly got money to burn ....

Thanks, great pics !

I would be content with just one - and they would probably not even miss it in that fleet..

Duh, I feel poor.

As you know the Cayenne is partly Porsche and partly VW but what about the Cayman? Is it a proper Porsche, or is it also partly VW?
