help with a ppi for a 94 cab in seattle

found a 1994 cab in seattle that looks good and i'd like to get a ppi from a good honest shop there that will be able to go through the car.
i also don't know anything about that year car. any comments on 1994 cars would be welcome. Gig Harbor Motor Sports is the dealer. they said the car has been sitting and the market is soft in seattle.
if anyone knows anything about this this car it would also be helpful.

Russ, what area of town are you in?
Akers is another great shop as well.
206 329 5253 ask for Mark. they are located on Broadway, very close to downtown Seattle.
they do extremely good work, i've had several PPIs done there.
as Paul mentioned above, John Walker is a great choice too.

Being your in North Carolina how are you going to get the car from Gig Harbor to the PPI shop? Gig Harbor is well south of Seattle.

If the car is in GH then you really should take it to Alex at MAXRPM in Bremerton at 360-373-6758. He knows these cars inside and out and you can also gaze at his 550hp Turbo 911.

Gig Harbor Motorsports is hardly a "Motorsports" kind of place. Mostly trucks and SUVs. They have a gravel lot visable from the freeway. I could stop by and take a quick peek at the car and give you my first impressions, if you like.

In case you didn't, a quick summary:

The car looks great. An easy 9+. The only concern I can see is that the plastic tray under the engine is wet with oil. Definately want to look further into that.

The panel gaps are good. The top and rear window appear new. Aftermarket floor mats have kept the factory carpet perfect. The driver's side seat has the beginnings of the bolster wear that is normal. About what would be expected for a 66,000 mile car. The front trunk is filled with stereo stuff. Proffessional looking installation, but storage space is gone. A few paint chips on the trrailing edge of the driver's door, and the rubber weatherstrip on the driver's sill has a worn spot. The area under the front bumper is scraped up from speed bumps, but once again, about what is expected. The engine looked perfectly detailed until I got a bright flashlight and looked into the deep nooks & crannies. A small amount of oil residue covers some of the engine tin that is not easily visable.

Overall a great looking cabriolet. I would just want to look deeper into possible engine oil leaks, but a standard PPI will do that. John Walker is a bit far. Alex at Max RPM in Bremerton or Pete Bristow of Bristow's in Tacoma are both closer, and know 911s very well.
