1970 2.2 Oil Pressure?

My Dad and I have rebuilt a 1970T 2.2 and are ready to start if for the first time.

Should the oil pressure read like the Druck/Pressure on my 1988 911 3.2?

The gauge reads 0-20-60-100-140, so at idle where should the pressure be, and so on?

If you crank it over with the ignition disabled, you should be able to raise some oil pressure at cranking speed. 10 to 20 lbs on the gauge, or a seperate external gauge if you have one.
Once you start it, pressure should be around 20lbs at idle. 60 or so as a regulated max - possibly higher, mine goes to about 80 when cold with Mobil 1 15W 50 on board.
Do a search here for initial running in procedure - pretty important to do it right the first 30 minutes or so on a fresh set of rings & bearings..
