Paint code tag help needed please.
 

I recently bought the "paint code tag" on ebay in Germany for my RSR replica project as mine was damaged by the bodyshop.

Can anyone tell me what info goes on here.

The car was originally a 912 but I am building a Jagermeifter RSR replica, think they were around in about 74 or so.

Painted in Continental orange.

What codes go where and what are the codes, help please.

Continental orange = 107.

Is that all the goes on there just the paint code 107

yours looks like it has a 9 and a 1 as well

does it read q03-9 1?

408 - 9 - 1

408 = Cockney Brown

9 = Porsche company, where paint applied

1,2, & 3 = paint mfr [2 = Glasurit]

Is there a trick to removing the tag?

Are the characters Embossed (raised) or Debossed (imprinted)? Curious as to what machine is used to create the code.
