That may work.

I think your filenames are too long, and are getting munged by either the PHP parser or the browser.

Excellent! Thanks Thom!
---------------------------------------------- When we went to Daytona for the 24hr, a pre-race radiator replacement got the mind a - thinking...took a few pictures in the garage. Look at the top pic at how a GT3 has its radiator positioned. Why couldn't a 74-89 with a center mount oil cooler function the same way? Top center vents at a low pressure area in conjunction with the high pressure radiator inlet? Check. Couldn't we add those to the 'smile' filler piece? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let's see what we have. Cooler mounted close to the pan. No shrouding. Air flows right past the center cooler. A Carrera cooler in the fender with 2 fans + this essentially non-functioning cooler + a modified 3.6 = 250+ temps at the track in 75 degree ambient temps. Not good. Improvements needed. Time to get to work. So, what did I do here? Hole saw the holes in the center of the front bumper. May clean up to open the entire center section which creates a long rectangle. Bumped out the cooler an inch from the pan. Added sheet aluminum shrouding at the bottom on the bumper - a piece as long as the cooler and 2 inches wide, screwed to the bottom of the bumper and painted black. Easy to do. Also added a piece inside the upper C-section of the bumper to seal the top. 1 pieces on each side, and the cooler is boxed in. Cut slots in the smile/steel inner smile piece and painted to match. The result? Air flow *through* the cooler and a majority goes UP through the slots and over the hood. Functional results? Identical conditions last year (72 degrees) resulted in 250+ temps. This year........215, tops. Cost? Minimal, if you already have a center mount cooler. A HUGE difference!

Craig, I Realize you no longer have this car but how about some more info:
1. where did you have this cooler installed before you did it this way? 2. what cooler is this? Dimensions?

1. where did you have this cooler installed before you did it this way?
2. what cooler is this? Dimensions?[B] Only had one fender cooler before we installed the front. Dimensions....I don't recall (car sold) but it was a pretty standard Setrab size as I recall.
