Question Wrench in or near Canton OH??

Hello Northeastern OH Pelicans -

I need a few things done before winter sets in and I don't have time to do them. Those things include adjusting idle speed, tune-up, LOF, rebuilding pedal cluster and installing new heater cable on drive's side. I also may need new pads. I live in Dalton, OH, and need a good wrench as geographically close as possible to take care of these issues. Any recommendations?? Thanks.

Shop in Canton

This is from a frined of mine who lives in Youngstown;

"Leyland Motors (330.455.8841) in Canton is an independent shop. Steinels (330.425.8582) in Twinsburgh is where I take my car."

Go see Eric at Steinels located in Twinsburg at I-480 and RT82.

http://www.steinels.com/

He can do it all and I've never have had any issues or problems with the work he's done on my car.

johnjr,
I'm on board with Steinels as well. He has a good maintenance then store program for people like you. That said, Porsche mechanics are few and far between in our part of the country so it's going to cost you. Here's my estimate.
Idle Speed - $20
LOF - $80
Tune-up w/valve adjustment - $600
Heater Cable - $120
Brake Pads - $125
"I found this also and fixed it" - $250+

John

I've had pretty good luck with Autobahn Extremist in Rocky River just West of Cleveland. Chris Moore runs the place - tell him Vance sent you!

While we're at it ---

How much can I expect to pay for a 4-wheel alignment and a valve adjustment on my 86 930 Turbo ??

Jer
