tiptronic

right here goes,

tiptronic, looked all over Google, PEt , can't figure this out

the gear lever in a Tiptronic car, is there any mechanical linkage to the actual tranny? or is that connection fully electronic???

i'm just thinking up a few ideas about transplanting a transversly mounted fwd VW engine with tiptronic attached...

to another car, but in the back..., infront/above the rear axle

but obviously that wouldn't work so smoothly if that tiptronic thing needs a mechanical linkage

wires can be rerouted, extended, etc etc
real linkage isn't as simple

note : don't worry guys , no 911 will be hacked , and it's in the oddball idea phase, nothing serious yet
