Question 2nd fender mounted oil cooler

I am thinking of getting another Mocal oil cooler and placing it in my drivers side fender...anyone know of the best way to run the lines? I am pretty sure it would be in series with the cooler I have now, just looking for pics and info on the lines (size, length, etc.) and what is the best way.

thanks

I also have a second Carrera cooler like the thread by surflvr. The hardest part is sourcing the hose. A hydraulic shop had plenty of hose available that would withstand the pressure but it gets costly when you go above about 230 degrees. I cut up a pair of old fender cooler short connector hoses for 3 of the fittings and made the 90 from the 4th.by welding a length of pipe to itPorsche uses an odd size hose something like 7/8" ID so take your fittings and hose sample with you when shopping..I would place the cooler first and roughly cut the hose .With the bumper removed I ran my 2 lines, after getting 1 end crimped on each. I then marked with a band of tape the exact end length of each and removed the hose and had it cut .I pushed the end in and test fitted again before getting it crimped .One hose ends up slightly longer than the other and a little adjustment is possible by reversing them. The hose is very stiff and is hard to work with in anything other than gentle bends.

thank you...I have a shop here (Hydrolic Hoses, etc) that can make the hoses now that I think about it. =o) They should be able to make them as long as they have the right materials. What is the grade of hose required? 350 degree limit?

As I used a short oil cooler hose for the fittings (about $30 new, it provides 2 fittings).I took the hose with me and asked for their equivelent. I think I ended up with some that was rated for about 275 with short periods at higher. Since the oil has already gone through one cooler ,I expect the oil going to the added one is already below the guage reading
