YOU BASTARD!

. . .oh no, wait . . a bastard would have chopped a motor out of a 993 and put it into a chopped SC.

hmmm, so what do we call you?

Well, next time I'm in Texas, I'm callling you for a drive.

It looks great Mark! I was just going to e-mail you to see how it went. Was the drive up awesome?

You could make a 917 with all of the air-cooled cylinders you have laying around now...

John,
It's the smoothest, most well balanced car I've ever driven. Still feels very much like a 911 - still sounds like a 911, only grown up. My only driving so far has been crowded interstate. Can't wait to get out in the boonies.

Beautiful 993! Congrats.

Why not just hang on to the SC? She's gorgeous too.

Now you're talking!

FWIW, I sold my SC using nothing but this site. Sold in only a few weeks.

Why would you go and buy a beautiful perfectly sorted car like that when you could have easily spent twice as much upgrading your SC. What's the fun in that?

Not only that, but you missed that rare opportunity to sell an "upgraded" SC down the road for pennies on the dollar, thereby, gaining the sympathy of all who knew how much you had invested in blood, sweat and tears and what a beating you were taking. It could have been all about you for that brief internet moment.

Anyway, kudos to you.

By the way what's sanity like?

P.S. I think you got the cars names backward. Ginger was the older model, redhead, with thin hips. Mary Ann was the younger model with tha big azzzz.

I was going to comment, but I lost my train of thought after Bobby brought up Ginger & Mary Ann.

Nice new ride, Mark.
