993 Brake upgrade-Sunday update

Well, I came to the realization my 16" Fuchs are not practical with the 993 calipers, unless I decide to put RSR flares on.

So, I put 72mm studs in my front hubs, and will use my 7/8" spacers (is this like Spanglish-mixing metric and US measures?) with my 3 piece HRE "Fuchs", 8's and 10 1/2" with some serious offsets. I think I'll be OK on front clearance, and I know I can run 1 1/2" spacers on the rear. I'll give these a go for now, and I may have a nice set of Fuchs (7/8")for sale. Maybe Ruf 17's are in my future?

I am not going to put any brakeline formers out of business, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be forming the new lines. By the way, my paint job on the calipers doesn't look as bad as the pics show...

Can you say "understated"?
