tranny rebuild left over seals

Have these seals left over from rebuilding my 85' 915 tranny. Any ideas where they should have gone. The larger o-rings are approximatly 2.5 in dia. Tranny is not togeather yet so I could put them in but can't find any place to put them. I did not pull the differential during the rebuild. The smallest one is a lip seal about 5/8 of an in. dia.

Smaller lip seal is for the mechanical speedometer drive output shaft which your transmission will not have. The larger lip seal is likely an input shaft (shaft from the flywheel) seal for a different version of the transmission. The smaller o-ring likely seals the end of the 5th gear idler shaft. The three larger 0-rings are a bit of a puzzle but likely seal both ends of a tube (tube encloses the input shaft) passing through the final drive housing and the guide tube for the clutch release bearing? Not all transmissions have this tube passing through the final drive. The metal rings appear to be replacement sealing rings for detent access plugs.

OK doesn't appear that my version has either the speedo or the tube. The smaller o-ring may be just for another version. I already have replaced the idler shaft o-ring. Thanks for explanation will sleep better now.....
