Nology Hotwires

Has anyone tried the Nology Hotwires? If so, do they do what they are advertised to do? Greater spark-More horsepower.

Is there a down side to using them?

The previous owner had HotWires on my 86...he put them on about 8 months prior to my purchasing them. I immediately removed them and each of the boots had melted on to the spark plugs, ripping upon removal... I replaced them with less expensive and better quality Magnacores and never looked back.

Do not use them. Spend the money elsewhere. They are overpriced, do not last, and will not give you a hp increase over other wires.

Thank you! I was wondering why I never hear anyone talk about them. I'll save my money for something else.

I had the same problem when I got my 911.

People keep coming up with "better" plug-wires/ignition-systems with all sorts of gizmos made to impress the wallet.

Once the fire is burning it is burning. Making it "more burnt" is exactly the same.

The only improvements come from longer lasting materials, improved EMI suppression, and prettier colors.
Magnacores are great on all three counts. Berus are very popular because of their quality too.
