Is there anyone clser to the Midwest or East Coast who can revalve my Bilsteins? Also, can they raise th espindles as well?
Thanks, John |
I have produced a table in Excel of the various Bilstein damper settings and part numbers but I am having trouble posting it directly from an Excel file, any ideas how to do this?
|
As I posted before...the "peak" values on bump and rebound are just that..peak values. It would be very beneficial to know the ramp-up and ramp -down *slope* of value numbers as the shock goes through a standardized speed / deflection test...in other words... a graph from a shock dyno...

Bruce clip ou the display with PrintKey or similar (great little utility BTW) and save to gif, then post.
I agree with Wil - that is also the trick with cams... |
I told bruce I would post this but it took me a couple of days because a bunch of stuff got hosed in a server upgrade. Here is his excel file, I'm very glad he put this together and is moving it forward:

I wanted to edit the above post but could not because it is so old. So I have to bump this old thread.
A board member contacted me because the link to the spreadsheet is dead (which it is), so I created a google doc for it for future reference. If you want to add to the google doc send me your google login and I will give you permissions to do so: https://spreadsheets3.google.com/a/bitjug.com/ccc?hl=en&key=tAbeFHEgnSnH6_oTUw3CayQ&hl=en#gid=0 |
