Break pedal adjustment
After reading all the past posts on break bleeding techniques, I think I have the answer. The spongy pedal problem I still have after replacing the master and power bleeding the system could be solved by bleeding the old fashioned way with the PB still connected, so I'll try that.
What I could not find is a solution to the low pedal position. Does the 74-911 have a turn buckle at the pedal base to adjust the plunger rod?

Yes, pull the floor board, crack the lock nuts loose and turn the long shaft to raise or lower the pedal, it turns easily by hand. Tighten up the lock nuts and replace the floor board and you are done. The floor board is held in by a 10mm nut and if memory serves me correctly (rarely) the lock nuts are 15mm/
Cheers
