Clutch pedal won't come up once

My clutch pedal sank to the floor. But still works after pulling it up and pumping 2 to 3x.
It just happened once and still works.
I drove the car up in a ramp to find out where the slave cylinder was.
Holy moly! It's way up in the driver side on top of bell housing.
How do you guys get to the slave cylinder for replacement and bleeding?
It looks like I have to remove the CV axle to get to it. What else?
Thanks.

Ok..... just found the answers at p-car.com.
I will investigate the kinematic lever behind the floor board as well as the roll pin before replacing master and slave cylinders.
