sport seats upgrade?

I have an 86 911 sunroof coupe which has already had most of the 'approved' upgrades to it. About the only thing I want to change (soon anyway) is that it has the standard partial leather NON-power seats. I don't want a race seat, but I would like the extra 1" lower seating of the sport seats in case I ever want to go to drivers ed and fit with a helmet (I'm 6'3").

Has anyone installed the power sport seats from a doner into a car that didn't come with them? I assume I'll have to run a power line to them but is there any other gotchas (like seat rails etc) or is there a better alternative?
