it is possible to find normal flares for 911'69 instead of new fenders?

I just looking for front and rear fenders for 1969 Targa as mine new project comes with some kind of Turbo flares and I like to keep it stock.
So idea is to by used or new fenders (new 4x1000$=4000! ,used maybe 1500) or as the fenders are in good shape find only flares as I see than I could find -Turbo,SC or even R fenders maybe somebody know where I can find normal ones?(if existing) So it will make my body work easier (rather cheaper)

Hi Tommy,

The front fenders are easy. Any 911, except a turbo, from 69 thru 89' should be fine to use. The only difference is on 74' and later cars is the turn signal box so you could cut the flare off of one of the later fenders and weld it to yours or you can cut the turn signal box off of one of your 69' fenders to weld on a later fender. Probably the easier solution.

For the rear flares you need a pair of any 69' thru 77' rear flares. These should be easy and cheap to locate. There are plenty on parts cars or you can probably find a pair here on Pelican from someone who's done an RS replica from an early car and cut theirs off.

Run an ad in the Pelican classifieds for the rear flares and you should see something pretty soon.

I've got a set of rear flares for something early. They're not narrow body, they're maybe 1" or 1.5"...i'll have to check them when I get home.
