Since there is no Carrera GT forum...

Poor quality video, but the sound is amazing. I want one!

Moses, I was at that DE and ran with one of the silver GTs. There were 3 total but only two ran. He was parked 2 cars down. Incredible cars in person, pictures do not do it justice. And the sound is just, WOW!

The sound indeed is spine curving .....

but the LOOKS ! .... man ... in a side profile the thing is just plain ugly ....like a pick up truck. Back-side top surface doesn't look right !

The car needs "sails" along the roll-over bar toward the rear....like a 904 or early Ferrari Dino... it looks unfinished to my eyes as it stands today...

I'm probably the lone dissenter here...but that never stopped me

No, you're not alone. The CGT does nothing for me. It is indeed a bit homely.

The Ford GT/F430 are more my style...

I saw one at Brands Hatch - awesome, and effortless around the track.

And I dont care what colour it is

Like any super car its in some way just to intimidating to me. Most other Porsche models lends themselves well for daily driving which feels genuinely unique for a sport scar manufacturer - the versatility of the cars.

The CGT is just too much. Too dear, too expensive. As a super car per se, of course its a masterpiece. The exterior design does not really do it for me - but then again I suppose that could very easily change up close in the metal.

Not very many people have been good enough this year to deserve a CGT but I've been watching you Moses, and you're in the pocket. Are you sure you don't want a nice little '73 RS Lightweight? It'd fit on my sleigh.

I have to agree that they look amazing in person.
If anyone here got one I am betting it would have fender flares and a duck in no time.

Unfortunately, all CGT's end up wrecked in a ditch. I know, I've seen the pics.

BTW, was that a missed shift about 1:30 into the vid?

Are you reading my mind? The '73 sounds perfect! Yellow or green or maybe tangerine. No, wait. Gulf blue and orange. That's the one!
