2.7 liter leaking oil, cost to fix?

A 1975, with air injectors and 3 to 1 exhaust, leaking oil where cyliners meet crank case. About 130k miles. No record of stud replacement. Some smoke when starting.

What is the cost of repairing the leak(s), and would I need a valve job for the smoke?

I am new to 911's and would appreciate any help/advise.

Thanks,
Martin

Your mechanic will be happy to tell you how much he would charge to fix it. How much you really pay depends upon what else you decide to do "while it's apart". Minimum $3500, sky's the limit.

It could just be the thermostat on top of the motor leaking (very common) and running down so it looks like it's leaking there. An easy fix for you or the mechanic. I would recommend AGAINST your exhaust system unless you want to pull head studs... you need to backdate to a 74 system or earlier, or SSI's, if you want any engine longevity.

The oil is pretty even front to back on both sides of the case, seems a lot for termostat leak?

Check the oil level when the car is warm, by the dipstick, not the gauge. It could be many things:
Breather hose loose
Breather gasket shot
t-stat
Oil pressure sender
rocker arm leak

Edit your profile so we can see where you are located, there is probably a pelican nearby to lend a hand.

check the oil level first.
Some smoke at startup is normal as the engine has not reached temp yet and some oil gets by the rings. An easy check for the need for a valve job is to drive the car in like 2nd gear, take it up to 5-6k on the tach and let off the gas quickly, look out the drivers door mirror(or have a friend follow you) and look for blueish smoke; if it is puffing then you could use a valve grind, or new guides(probable).
