Beautiful! About what I expected. To me it looked more aggressive than the 997 and much better than a Boxster. Plenty of interior room too. Looked way more integrated in design than just a Boxster with a hardtop added IMHO.

Interesting comment from the salesman on the floor is that several people have recently come in and placed orders for "loaded" Caymans that were well into 997 price territory. Stop by your dealer and check it out!

Heck no! If I had the $70k+ to spend it would be on a 993 twin turbo.

And the brake and clutch pedals! Why do they hang down from the dashborad like that? How you supposed to push them DOWN?

Still can't get past the fogs/drivers suspended by the horizontal bars in the front grills. Would have been nice if they were better integrated, like the last version of the Supra. But I'm sure tons of people think they are super-duper-killer.

How tall are you? How well did you fit in the car?

Just one guys opinion, but when I saw the first Cayman pictures I didn't like the fog lights either. At that time they jumped out at me. After seeing the car in person though it was a total non issue.

BlueSideUp,

I'm 6'2" and there was plenty of head room, even for a helmet. Fit was absolutely no issue for me.

Expect it to be in my price range comes 2015...

So far, I have never owned a new car. And now, with four kids I guess I never will.
