Spring plates for early 911 long wheel base cars

Does anyone have experience substituting on a long wheel base 911 (1969 911E to be exact):
PN 901 333 003 01 to an adjustable spring plate:
PN 911 333 003 00?
Do I need to buy the alu struts to make the mod?

Also, does anyone have the technical bulletin or advise on where it can be found (Porsche Technical Information Bulletin TIB) for setting the lowered ride height?

Thanks
Dom

It's a straight bolt up. you don't need to change out the trailing arms.
