Motec would be the best.
There's also Autronic, DTA, Haltech, Electromotive, Megasquirt and many many more. There's much research to do to see what you'd like.

My choice would be Motec or Autronic. If you want want to go low budget, Megasquirt may be a good choice.

:)

An easy way to go is with the TWM throttles mounted on your Weber manifolds. It uses the same linkage and works well.

You can use the Mega Squirt ECU set up for EDIS.

The latest MS is V 3.0, and it only needs the EDIS coil pack, not the EDIS Ign Module.

I am running MS on a 911SC with the older V 2.2 that reqs the ign module, but am planning to upgrade to the 3.0 and eliminating this module.

We installed the TWM setup on a 74 911 Carrera that was using Webers. It was a very easy conversion. You can even use the same air cleaner assys.

If I can reach the owner, I will take some pics of it and post them.

Earlier this week I ordered my TWM ITB EFI setup from Motomotions. It utilizes the Megasquirt ECU and TWM throttle bodies. I am going to use Weber manifolds opened up to match my 34mm heads and 46mm throttle bodies. Once I get the EFI up and running I will be installing the EDIS ignition which I have already purchased. For aprox. $ 3300.00 I will have a ITB EFI setup that I can program and should perform great. For that price I had to find a few items used but that's O.K. I like saving money! This will be for a mostly street driven 911.

Mega squirt works well and is very inexpensive

Give Mike at motomotions a call, they also sell the Jenvey ITB and they are a true piece of art. Only marginally more money than the TWM

Cheers

SDS EFI

I converted my SC to EFI using system from SDSEFI. I put together some basic documentation and links at:

Muahahahahha! I have he Jenvey 48mm tapered ITB's sitting on my desk right now.....no camera, though. I am doing fuel only at this point and am using the MegaSquirt purchased from Mike at MotoMotions. He is a great resource and VERY helpful. IMHO, by the time you get the GXXR's ITB's working correctly, you should go the TWM or Jenvey's and with something that we know works and looks semi-OEM. I had a couple of parts missing from the Jenvey's Porsche kit and Mack@Emerald Performance and Jenvey got right on it and made things right. All is good.....just need a car to install them on :) I'll post updates on my progress... FYI, the TWM3006 and the Jenvey's are true ITB's, the TWM3003's are more like webers, not that it matters.

What size motor are you using the 48's on?

Cheers

For now, a stock 3.0l, but will eventually get pistons and cams.....

Remember, though, I have an 80SC with 34mm intakes, so that's where the taper comes in. If I ever go larger with intake ports, I'd need to ream out the manifolds to match...

A very reputable SoCal P-car shop has indicated I could see 25-35HP just with the ITB/EFI conversion, then another similar amount after internal changes.
