Fuchs can rust?

My Fuchs wheels seem to be rusted, is this possible?
Enclosed some pictures of what seems to be rust on the wheels. I pocked a big scale of what seems to be rust.
Is this rust or dirt from road grime and brake dust?

It's brake dust and road crud. Aluminum can not rust. I scrubbed mine with Bonami and scotch bright and painted em black.

It's just brake dust and road grime. Fuchs are forged aluminum, typically with a anodized or painted fishish. They don't have anything to rust.

Exact...aluminum don`t rust...but it corrode, trust me...I see it very often on aircraft aluminum structures...and corrosion can destroy aluminum.

Aluminum can form aluminum oxide which is the equivalent of iron or ferrous oxide which we call rust. But this is not aluminum "rust". The corrosion zefsuper911 references usually occurs when placed against an incompatible metal (steel) and galvanic corrosion occurs. Or when exposed to acidic conditions.
