Klub Sport race at Daytona
I had a great time at the HSR event at Daytona, one question for anyone that races this event-why does almost every 911 run a T front lower spoiler? Are they more aerodynamic than an S spoiler or is it a rule they must comply to?Just wondering because im in the process of building a 69 to run in HSR next year and could not find anywhere in the 2005 rule book it was required. Thanks

Spoodup,
if I remember correctly, aero configuration is limited to 1969 specs. Most of us go to R spec nose to get the vents (not a T nose). FYI, I believe a front center grill is not allowed (thus most of us run dual coolers - on either fender instead of a center mounted one). No other aero modifications are allowed on 911's although some have shaved the gutters and installed flush glass which was I believe grandfathered to allow some guys/ cars to participate. Drop me a line if you have further questions.

Man HSR Racing is a blast! D
We have not raced HSR since the fall race at Atlanta in 2004. We had been racing HSR for the previous 5 years. We have a 2.0L 914-6 GT and we always ran the Klub Sport races. Its great competition! ![]() I am glad to say in 2006 we will be returning to HSR and The Klub Sport races. We will only run about four or so HSR races next year starting with the Mitty in Atlanta in the spring. We will run a couple of SVRA races to now that they allow crankfire ignitions. ![]() I am realy looking forward to it too. I hope to see you guys there. ![]() ![]() ![]()
