Removing the Door Glass?

I have my doors pretty much stripped down on my parts car.
Does anyone have any good tips on removing the door glass with the metal bracket that holds it into the window sleeve?

Or does the glass get pulled out of the bracket just with the glass alone?

I cant figure out how to remove it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Jon

When I took my doors apart I took the window completely out of the sleeve, Im not sure that it was the right way but I just got frustrated and said screw it. Its a pain to get the window back into the sleeve, just in case you do decide to go that route.

You need to roll the window completely down, remove the window frame by lifting it straight up out of the door after removing all of the cap screws that hold it in. There is a cap screw on a frame support inside the door about mid high in the door & two thirds of the door toward the front. Then you can push (lift) the window out of the slits in the support that lifts it and lift it up & out of the door. Putting it back in is the reverse.
It's actually quite easy. The only thing you need to worry about is the "while you're in there" part. You can use the opportunity to take the door opening & locking mechanism out & clean & lubricate it along with the window regulator & inspect the pivot pin.
Good luck.
